(680 reviews) This is a beautiful hotel with a friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a welcoming atmosphere. There is a bar and restaurant on site and the bar was quite lively for a Monday night when we arrived. Our room featured a large soaking tub, tons of space, and spectacular views of the Texas Hill Country. Would highly recommend Hotel Viata to anyone staying in the Austin area. (1,004 reviews) Hotel is under construction did not know this until we arrived. Was charged a $30 resort fee for every day of our stay for a hotel under construction is ridiculous. No ironing board or steamer in the rooms, called down to front desk they never brought one up had to go down to desk to ask because the front desk was not answering the phone. The cafe food was amazing and the bell hops were so friendly. I would not book this property until the construction is completed. I really would have enjoyed seeing it before the renovation started.
