The pineapple greenhouse with the hottub was a bit sketchy, but we enjoyed a soak after a big hike one day. Room and bathroom not as expected from photos, a bit run down but servicable. "The location was good - the room had a nice view of the water BUT for us unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. We couldn't get hold of the host and Expedia help line did not answer my messages either (Expedia still never addressed our issue - all messages are u answered). I tried calling the host and they did not answer. We had no information about how to access our room. The host finally sent a txt while I was continually calling to say they couldn't answer the phone right now and...
"What lovely people. From the moment we arrived through to leaving Furnas, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They excelled making us feel welcome, carrying our luggage, suggesting itineraries, helping us organise taxis and making us feel genuinely valued guests.
