Hi everyone. This hotel is located in the north of the island and easily accessible from the capital, Ponta Delgada in 20 min by car mostly in a motorway. Its right on the coast with a beach a few meters away. There's nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Its clean, friendly and full of the right amenities for a place with this classification. We really enjoyed our 10 night stay at Pedras do Mar resort. Great facilities and some really nice staff. Beautiful location and only 15 mins by car to Ponta Delgada. If you want to be able to walk around a town and choose from bars/restaurants every evening this is not the resort for you, although having said that, a taxi is only 15 euros in to Ponta Delgada where there is plenty to choose from. Very good value for the price. The hotel is perfectly located, all the people very very helpful in advising and helping us. The room was spacious, turned to the street, but quiet. Difficult to get some fresh air there though. Breakfast is simple, but good.

Beautiful guesthouse, quiet but within walking distance of Sao Roque. Comfortable rooms and good, shared kitchen facilities. An ideal base for exploring Pico.

Stayed at the São Miguel Park hotel for a week with my husband and 21 months old son. We were given a triple room which was very spacious. Breakfast was really good and had a wide selection of cheeses, local bread and fresh fruit. Staff were very friendly and very attentive to my son's needs (he's got multiple allergies). Wonderful holiday with lots of hikes around lakes and along beautiful trails to waterfalls. We loved the hotel. Our suite was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and great bath. We had enough space to do yoga each morning. The staff were very pleasant and helpful providing information about hikes and tourism. Marcia was an absolute gem and looked after us so well. Beautiful island and a relaxing weeks holiday.

Excellent. Had a half bottle of wine and cake waiting on arrival, then had a whole bottle delivered on ice during our first full day!. Great location. Everything clean and tidy.

A great stay, just one night before we explored the rest of the island

Very welcoming staff at reception. Advise them if you want breakfast during your stay. Our room was a good size but the hot water was sometimes erratic. Breakfast was really good, lots of crispy bacon and hot pancakes. Difficult to find fault with anything really.

We booked a sea view room and the hotel overlooked this. When I pointed this our they have us a suite!!!! Totally wonderful response to a Small error in their part

The hotel was sufficient for our needs with a good range of facilities. The hotel staff were amazing and very accommodating. Whilst the property looked dated, it had everything we needed, was very clean and there were obvious signs of continued maintenance. Our room was great and well presented. Good location and within easy reach of lots of places on the island. Nice quite location and great views.

Very enjoyable holiday, beautiful island with spectacular views, a must to see with an abundance of flowers on the hedgerows, everywhere is kept spotlessly clean and maintained in a pristine condition, easy access to viewing points by car which can be hired at very reasonable rates, good selection of cafes and restaurants around the island serving excellent food at reasonable prices. We both enjoyed seeing the museum at the Forte de Sao Bras, Ponta Delgada, situated at the end of the promenade....
