"This is my favorite hotel to stay at when visiting Ponta Delgada. The location is perfect, as not only does it have an ocean/port view, but it is walkable to restaurants, shops, and historical sites. The staff are friendly and professional; and they speak English, which is helpful. The air-conditioned rooms are clean and spacious. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, and other amenities. You don't have to go far to eat breakfast, as it is located in the dining room on the main floor with a view of the port/ocean. There is a wide selection of fresh food and beverages, and it all tastes good. There is parking on site for a nominal fee, which allows you to go in and out as often as you would like, or just keep your car in the garage while you walk around the city. Thank you to the staff for making my stay in Ponta Delgada comfortable."

"I absolutely love everything about this hotel. This is my second time coming here and when I return to Sao Miguel, this will be home. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Ponta Delgada. There is valet parking available. The staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel is magnificently beautiful and luxurious with its gold detail. The room is spotless as usual. They’ve done renovations and the pool is heated and there is 2 saunas stations which we absolutely adored. The breakfast is always immaculate. Thank you Grand Acores Atlântico for the memories. I can’t wait to be back already!"

"This by far was the most beautiful 5 star Hotel l have visited!! There was nothing not to like about my visit at the wonderful hotel!!! The staff was amazing, the amenities were great, the Food was extremely good and there was not a bad experience to be had!! The room, OMG!! The view was incredible!!"

"Hotel was in a great location, right across from the Marina. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly and made out stay easier. If you have a car, street parking is very difficult to find. However, there is underground parking across the street which is convenient. Ask the hotel for a pass. We had a great stay and had time to enjoy the wellness centre. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Beautiful experience, felt like a spa from the moment we arrived. Relaxed atmosphere surrounded by nature. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Thermal pool amenities are perfect to relax after a day’s activities. Restaurant feels like you’re in a garden, and lots of healthy options. Comfortable rooms and quiet at night. Definitely worth exploring this part of the island. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day!"

"The rooms were clean and front desk staff were helpful. My biggest complaint is breakfast. It didn't matter what time you got down there, there was never a clean table, replenishing food was very slow and only small amounts were brought out at a time. I think my biggest issue was that I would find hair (that was the same color) from the young girls working on some of the tops of where things like plates of cheese were. Although the young girls had their hair tied back they would be swinging their hair around. They should have hair nets on. Although, it seemed like there was quite a bit of staff around...there was a lot of chit chatting with guests and amongst each other."
