The basic rooms are super small. The lighting in the room was horrible. The bathroom was rather nice, with heated floors. The breakfast was wonderful, great selection, fresh food, and very nice servers.

Great staff and decent sized rooms. The sauna is lovely.

Rich breakfast, a little busy but well organised. Helpful and friendly staff. Spacious room, clean. Hotel conveniently located, very central, served by a local tram stop and short walk from the central train station. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Beatuiful historic hotel in downtown Stockholm (Östermalm). Walkable to the Old Town (Gamla Stan) and Djurgården (with all the museums). The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Our room was cleaned daily and we never saw the cleaning staff. The room was very beautiful and well maintained while still keeping the historic charm. Small things but still could have improved our stay/I wish I had known: 1)The rooms are small. We got a suite which was the size of a normal hotel room. 2)The AC does not really work in the room, which was OK becuase it was very cool in the evenings, but there is also no ceiling fan so the room got very toasty in the evening. 3) There is no door between the bathroom area and the bedroom so when I was getting ready in the morning I easily disturbed my sleeping husband. 4) There is one, very old elevator in the hotel, which broke towards the end of our stay, which made it very difficult to get to our room on the 6th floor. 5) There is a cocktail bar on the first floor, which we were excited to try, but it was NEVER open. We checked every evening of our week long stay. 6) Our minifridge was never restocked throughout our stay despite. We called down to request a refill but this was not done.

When we arrived there was only 1 towel for us both. We called reception and they said towels were being washed. When we return 5 hours latter, still no towel. We called reception again and were told nobody was on site and we needed to ask in the morning. In the morning we asked staff serving breakfast and did receive 1 more towel. There was a limit of 1 towel per person per stay. Then we could have a shower. However, with no shower curtain, the floor got very wet. We did not wish to wipe up with our precious towels as we would need them again so floor was wet and dangerous, not to mention disgusting. We wish there was a shower curtain.

The desk assistant Denis was aaaaamazing, kind, welcoming and detailed, also Alex was so very helpful and accommodating. Chef Banjo was pleasant and entertaining as he made the most delicious omelet just as we liked it. Thank you for a wonderful stay ~~~ The van der Linde family.
