Big wedding there on the same weekend we stayed which meant this took precedence over the availability of seating in the shared spaces which I wish we had been advised prior to arrival. On the second day reserved signs were placed on tables for hotel residents so we were able to get a small table on the veranda at least. "We much enjoyed our week at Somers Hiscott which is a large and very comfortable house set deep in the woods. It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen which has every appliance and cooking and eating utensil one could wish for. The very large main TV and others throughout the house were a boon for our sports fans for the Euros and Wimbledon when the weather was rather poor for much of our time.
