"The bedroom was clean and well equipped. I would have liked a comfortable chair to sit in rather than hard backed dining chairs however, this did not impact on my stay, only the ability to knit. We had dinner in the dining room, serviced by fantastic staff. The food was amazing, both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was buffet style, we would have like fried eggs as opposed to scrambled and neither of us liked the sausages, otherwise enjoyable. We did not use the bar so can’t comment. The hotel location is beautiful, the grounds well maintained. We would consider using the hotel again in the future"
Leeds Marriott Hotel

"Took my dad for a few nights and he loved his room and walk in shower. We had the executive lounge which was great and all staffs from reception to working in there and restaurant were friendly and so helpful. Only thing I would change is the lighting in the main restaurant for breakfast - too dark and cannot see daylight. Everything else was great. Second visit there."

"This was not our first stay and it won’t be the last. The staff are truly excellent, from check-in to check-out. Breakfasts were once again terrific. We are already planning our next trip to Whitby and the Royal Hotel."

"Great location (close to train station and city centre, friendly staff and nicely furnished room. Only downside is mobile reception isn't that great."
