Villa Sandra is an exclusive privately owned luxury holiday villa with heated pool for the discerning traveller in unspoilt Lanzarote. Relax and enjoy your holiday in absolute privacy, style and comfort.

The villa was renovated completely in the beginning of 2020 after receiving many guests for the last 9 years.
Featuring private heated swimming pool, 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and one double bedroom with separate bathroom, big modern kitchen with island and build in grill, A/C in the main 2 bedrooms for free and with coins in the lounge, large terrace area with 4 sun loungers, exclusive huge lounge area, nice lava BBQ area with bar stools and a fixed lounge bed, pool table, ping pong table, 55 inch smart tv with internet tv and Netflix, Prime, .. cactus garden and private off street parking. Free WIFI from a fiber connection.

Distance to nearest restaurant is 5 min. Villa Sandra was completed to the highest standard in March 2020 (after receiving many holiday guests for 9 years) and is situated at Montana Rojo, in the resort of Playa Blanca. Set back in a direct line from the harbour, a walk to the main resort takes around 10 minutes. However, we do recommend car hire.
This villa gives you a WOW holiday.
This villa was during the last 2 years exclusively rented by Solmar and Jet2, now we decided to do the bookings again ourselves.

The communication with the owner was great throughout. The villa is very spacious and great for families. The pool was very good and warm with the heating on. The pictures reflect the spacious nature of the villa but there has been natural wear and tear on some of the soft furnishings, etc. The outdoor area is a great space to relax outside.

Lovely spacious and clean Villa
Lovely clean villa. It is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. The seating area outside was a fantastic shaded area. Had a problem with some of the sun beds being perished and broken but the host replaced two of them within days. Great communication from the host. The Villa is a little bit tired but clean and otherwise lovely. The aircon in the bedrooms only stays on for two hours and then switches off. The main aircon in the lounge we did not use as you have to insert coins. Annoying dogs barking a lot in neighbouring villas. There is nothing the villa host can do about the dogs. We would definitely stay in the villa again. 9/10 Overall

The property was clean and it was ok for our stay, the pool was lovely and the villa is spacious. I would not use the words newly rennovated or luxury to describe the property though. The villa has adequate facilities but coin operated air conditioning was not expected from the writeup and the bedroom units turn off after 2 hours rather than allowing them to tick over, which is rather irritating. As with other luxury properties at this price that I have rented I would not expect that. However, it was acceptable and we still had an ok stay.

Ideal villa for family holiday
Lovely villa ideal for family getaways we had a great time here its quiet and just slightly outside playa blanca main town. Small mini market down the road ideal for small essentials town is a small walk down the road if you have a car only a 5 min drive. We really enjoyed our stay the owner is lovely and communication was brilliant right through our stay and leading up to it would highly recommend.

Spacious, clean apartment. Swimming Pool was great as was the pool table. Maybe a little windy to use the table tennis table! Dormant volcano almost at the back door was great to climb in the morning and gave fantastic views of the area. The only tiny, and it is tiny, downside is the distance to the centre of Playa Blanca. It’s a 20/30 minute walk. That said, the taxi company that the owner recommended were prompt and cheap. Four Euros each way. Great communications from the owners. Would recommend, would love to go back.

The villa overall is a very nice property. There are a few things that could be improved, such as shelving in both the walk in showers and additional hanging space for towels in the separate bathroom (these are only minor issues). It does have a feeling of needing a freshen up but nothing that would stop us booking again.

Lovely Villa
Lovely villa. From the booking process all the way through to the holiday and leaving, communication with and from Sandra was very good. Sandra was there to answer any questions and to also give advice on things that we could access such as Teguise Market etc. Prior to accessing the resort, I was extremely concerned regarding the last review likening the villa to ‘student digs’ and raised my worries with Sandra and she was able to appease my anxiety. After spending a week at the villa, I can assure people the it is far from student digs - I wouldn’t say the villa is ‘luxury’ as there are some broken floor tiles and bits of ‘fixture and fittings’ jobs but they by no means deflect away from the the villa, which is lovely. We had a couple of days out but in the main, remained at the villa. We had full access to cooker/hob/dishwasher/fridge and washer - there was some washer/dishwasher tablets however we also purchased more that we left for the next guests. There was some toilet roll but with accessing a villa, I see this as my responsibility to buy, not the owners. Comment had been made regarding the pool cover needing to be replaced - we had no issues with this and it did not appear to need to be replaced. The villa is around a 30minute walk to centre of Playa Blanca however taxis are readily available not far from the villa and cost between €3-4. We hired a car which I felt we needed and Sandra provided information regarding car rental company - we went with these and had no issues. We made full use of the pool and the pool/ping pong table. It is relatively quiet around the villa apart from a neighbouring dog that barks throughout the day but this didn’t bother us. During our stay it was quite stuffy therefore we made full use of the air conditioning in the bedrooms but after a period of time, they went off which meant getting up during the night to turn it back on - it would be better if it stayed on but that’s being picky. I would recommend this villa for anybody wanting a chilled holiday where access to town is easy but likewise, you can stay in if you want to.

Disappointing and feel ripped off.
I rarely feel ripped off but this is one of those times . I thought I’d booked luxury accommodation instead of student digs . Spacious villa but needs complete renovation and updating. Furniture old and faded. Bedrooms dark and gloomy with smells from some bathrooms. Bedding and towels shabby limited provisions such as toilet roll cleaning equipment. Lovely pool but cover needs replacing as do the outdoor furniture and equipment. This villa has been thoroughly used but photos shown have obviously taken a long time ago. I feel cheated .
