"The room was spotless and housekeeping was great. I really like the area too; it’s literally a one‑minute walk to the station, which is super convenient if you’re planning to explore central London. Parking provided by the hotel is readily available, which is a big plus. The staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay, and the reception always smelled nice. For the rate you pay, the hotel is incredibly good value. I genuinely enjoyed my stay."

"I have been staying at this hotel now for the past two years or so and it is stunning. The rooms are spotless with large wide screen tv’s. The only negative is the price of food and drink in the bar and restaurant. I paid £11 for a glass of wine there though staff are attentative. The cost for a room for the night if booked online is under £100 which is good value. I will be staying here again no doubt at all."

"All good, pleasant and helpful staff, decent breakfast, room and common areas all well cleaned. Great for transport links, Excellent value. Only gripe was an extremely hot room - set right in the roof of the property with fairly limited ventilation and headroom. Difficult to complain as I had been ungraded to this room when travelling alone prior to my family joining me the following day for a long weekend break. It was also an uncommonly hot period in a heatwave. But maybe ask not to be put in a roof room on a hot day."

"Receptionist very polite and helpful on arrival To our surprise, we were given Welcome packs for our dogs, which we thought was adorable. Room clean, everything worked except the television, but didn’t report/complain as we didn’t particularly want to watch anything. A fair choice of food for Breakfast,all cooked properly Service was good, staff polite. Overall happy with our stay at this particular Holiday Inn."

"Grove hotel stay Positives: Executive room, generous size, comfortable bed, air conditioning and fridge in room. Check in smooth, staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Could be improved: Air conditioning was a welcome addition to the room but was very noisy, sounds like it needs a service and the fans put back in alignment. Fridge was also a good addition, it gave a high pitched sound and emitted heat. Perhaps an in-unit fridge would be better? The door to the en-suite was in need of attention, the veneer at the bottom is cracked and peeling, most of the door appeared to have water damage. Food in the restaurant, the starter was described as potato and leek soup, it was actually sweet potato and leek, delicious but not what I expected. My husband and I both ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection, but we were not offered or given steak knives. The restaurant staff were attentive and polite when engaging with us, however they grouped together for a laugh and joke in view of and within earshot of the guests. It is lovely to see they have a good rapport, but not very professional."
