I had a quiet room with a bath overlooking the garden and slept well, though I'm quite insomniac. It'd be nice if there was a microwave to use."

"Overall very satisfied with stay, needed help with tv, maintenance came immediately after request, explained two remote controls needed. Heating wasn’t on, followed instructions still didn’t work, finally sussed there was an on/off button not mentioned on instruction card. We ate in the hotel restaurant, would recommend, food took a little time to arrive but worth the wait and the waiter Jackie Bennett M.B.E. Kept us entertained, a lovely lady, good at her job. Check in/out smooth and efficient. Would stay again and recommend."

"Room and bathroom spacious pleasant and well fitted out. Minor blip, nowhere to put your suitcase except the chair or floor. One or two places where you could sit including some casual chairs and tables by the bar but no real lounge as such. Wide selection on the menu and food nicely cooked and presented, Wine at reasonable prices but could have been chilled better. All important question these surveys never seem to ask: if I need accommodation in that area again would I stay there? Answer: yes definitely."
