The Old Bell Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, but wonder how warm it will be in Winter as only single glazing. Staff very good. Breakfast was good, but standard coffee served was only just passable. I think you could pay extra and get a ‘proper’ coffee though!"
The Moonraker Hotel

"Delicious evening meal, both the tomato soup and the lamb and belly pork in gravy, very nice polite waitress. Basic bar available. Clean bathroom, very nice gel soap for bath, lovely large bed and crisp bedding No real facilities other than restaurant and the bar closes at 10. Very few comfy seats in the restaurant to retire to after dinner and these were taken over by a large group, so we had to either continue to sit at our table or go back to our room. Outside town so not an easy walk to other restaurants or bars Overall however the price reflects this and the hotel was very good value."

"This hotel is a little tired. Very quirky in that floors are uneven and lots of stairs. The best part of the stay was the convenience to the Cotswolds and it had an amazing restaurant which was beautifully decorated with a good choice on the menu. The chicken and leek pie was amazing as was the chateaubriand which came as a special for £55 with 2 side dishes , 2 sauces and a bottle of red wine."

"Beautiful property located in the heart of The Cotswolds. Great staff, well appointed rooms and lots of Cotswold charm throughout. Food at The Crown was delicious and the included breakfast was a bonus. Easy to get a taxi or Uber into nearby Cirencester. Would definitely recommend!"
