It was a heatwave, which couldn't be helped, and we stayed on a night with a late England football game, so it wasn't the most comfortable night's stay. The circumstances were exceptional but The flat was very close to two pubs, one that is regularly open until 2am apparently, so it was very noisy at night."

"The hotel is very nice, room clean with a lovely view of the lake. Food and drinks in the bar were very good with a nice atmosphere The spa was very disappointing though as the pool was far too cold and most of the spa type features (jets etc) were not working. Also we mistakenly left an item in the room which the hotel staff told us was not handed in which is again very disappointing when staying at an upmarket hotel."

Vanessa at reception on arrival at the hotel was very so helpful and friendly and made time to give as all the information we need went above and beyond to sort out extra towels etc. Will go back on next visit if staying in Swindon. Thank you all again for making our stay a great one. Also thank you to Sam the lady at the gym next door for making time for us . Only thing I would have liked to see was a few more things for vegan or vegetarian but otherwise a good section for breakfast. A++++"

"Lovely stay, perfect location! The motel and diner were both great and felt like a special night away on our way to an event without breaking the bank. The Dyson and GHDs in the room were a snazzy edition. Only downside was no kettle in the room which meant having to dash outside the room in your pyjamas for your morning cuppa."

"We stayed at the Cricklade Hotel & Spa for 3 nights for our wedding anniversary & couldn't have had a better time. The staff were amazing. Always on hand to get whatever you needed. Special thanks goes to Geveena who took such great care of us. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. We found the hotel in general, the rooms, the restaurant and the pool & spa area all very well maintained & very clean. The food was excellent. Plenty of choice at breakfast & the lunch & evening menus were very good & reasonably priced. We both had treatments in the spa which were lovely. We would highly recommend this hotel & are thinking of going back with some friends next summer."
