Nice hotel and had a lovely meal in restaurant. It was a bit noisy due to private party but that’s our issue due to going to sleep early! Good breakfast too.

We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out.
Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day.
We couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend House 41 to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely return if we’re in the...

At breakfast Jackie insisted that I have everything brought to me as she had spotted my walking difficulties. Because all other guests finished in the breakfast room I had the bonus of interesting conversation with her...

Really good service from the team! Husband ran in the MK marathon and the team were super considerate about this! They also considered my comfort and provided us with extra pillows without asking because I am 9 months pregnant! Would definitely stay here again if husband ran again next year.

The High Street runs directly through the centre, connecting many of these points of interest.

The best time to go to Winslow is during the late spring and summer months, specifically from May to September, when the weather is generally at its finest.
These months offer warmer temperatures and longer daylight hours, making it ideal for exploring the Winslow Hall gardens, enjoying walks in the surrounding Buckinghamshire countryside, and attending local events. You'll find that the town and nearby villages are at their most welcoming during this period, with pubs and cafes often having outdoor seating available.
For those who enjoy outdoor activities like cycling or exploring historic estates, July and August provide the warmest and sunniest conditions. This is when you can comfortably spend full days outdoors, perhaps visiting nearby National Trust properties or walking along the Grand Union Canal.
If you prefer slightly milder weather and fewer crowds, May, June, or September are excellent choices.
