Absolutely perfect hotel. Staff inc Tina, Alex and Luke all great, room perfect - exceptionally clean with a comfy bed. Restaurant stunning, food great and good value - the Carrot Cake really something else! Also best breakfast I’ve had in a long while. Stunning location too

Had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous traditional inn. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean, with good amenities, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, and complimentary items in the fridge and bathroom. Service from staff was wonderful and friendly, and the included breakfast is amazing. Location is exceptional, right on the square opposite the cathedral, with easy access to the high street and the train station. I loved my stay, and definitely hope to stay again. Thank you to the Old Vine!

The room was great. There is a breakfast room downstairs which is open all of the time to get coffee and tea etc. We were leaving on a Sunday morning around 8am before breakfast started, but the staff were really helpful and put some food out ready for us (cereal and milk was already out anyway). The pub is lovely next door

Very welcoming with helpful and friendly staff. Good and varied dinner menu and a good choice selection of cooked or light breakfast. Location is out of the way down narrow lanes but the pretty village setting is both quiet and peaceful.

Wykeham Arms is a period institution! Accomodation is a plus, and great food... Location, location, location helps!

This was our first stay at the hotel-although we had stayed at Pennyhill Park. Three adults and a small Maltese Terrier with adjoining rooms for a five night stay. We found the hotel to be absolutely brilliant. Customer service was first class and could not be faulted. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean-bathroom toiletries were replaced daily. More importantly our dog was welcomed throughout the hotel which meant that we could have him with us at breakfast and supper in the bar. The...

Lovely spacious comfortable room, very clean and beautifully quiet. Tea and coffee supplies locally sourced where possible as were a lot of items on the menu. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed everything. Bar well stocked with an excellent range. Attentive lovely staff, who know how to be in stealth mode and not interrupt while you’re in full swing of conversation. Great pub with abundant outside space in the separate garden spaces. Food was amazing

A beautiful room in a delightful hotel, set in the heart of Winchester and so walking distance of shops, restaurants and the cathedral. There were lovely touches in the room including bottled water on the bedside tables and a well-stocked cupboard including iron, ironing board and a hairdryer. The bathroom had towelling robes, shower caps and nice toiletries. All members of staff were extremely polite and courteous.

Loved everything about this hotel. Lovely thoughtful touches in the room - fan, radio, chocolate, nice shower products. Very comfortable and clean.

Staff were helpful and efficient on arrival. Shown to my room which was clean, warm and had all I needed. Only issue was the tv on the wall was rather small. Car parks were available fairly close by.
