"Stayed with 10 friends with average age of 60. Photos of house interior on Vrbo are generally accurate - those on the website for Wheathill show different furniture and soft furnishings. Overall1930s shabby chic vibe is very nice and as expected. Good location in rural residential area10 mins walk to nearest shop and a pub. "Our second stay here - such a lovely position! Apartment is clean & very comfortable. Waking up to the sound of the sea is fantastic. Despite being so close to the town & seafront the apartment is quiet & peaceful."

"Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again."
