It was peaceful and a good location for visiting both south and north Cornwall coasts. Newquay was our best day out."

"We could not fault inside the house clean and lovely Unfortunately parking is very hard if you have anything other than a smart car and there really isn't a garden Ok we arrived for our 10 day visit upon arrival was told not very nicely to move our car as we parked in wrong place we had a nice 2 days then went to combe Martin for the next 2 days fir our wedding which was perfect We arrived back at the house and within 2 hours we were being shouted at and verbally abused by a male neighbor...

"I don’t know if a review is needed as day 2 of our stay a for sale board appeared outside! Room sizes great. As November we didn’t use the outside facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. The radiator in the family bathroom a friend burnt herself. It does get red hot so be careful. We struggled a bit with the heating as it was really cold at the beginning and then extremely warm. "My wife and I can’t fault our stay at the Roost from the warm welcome to the comfort provided by Kate. This is a gem of cottage in a great location to explore Cornwall. Not forgetting, the online information package which is sent in advance of the stay, it proved very helpful. All in all one of the best cottage stays we have enjoyed."
