"Bay Cottage is just right for our stays when down visiting family nearby. Easy access to the beach, canal and town centre. Parking away from the main road, and safe. Sounds of the birds waking you in the morning confirms this oasis of peace, despite the town location. Large grounds giving plenty of space to walk your dogs last thing at night. Owners in easy reach and happy to sort any problems with a smile."

"lovely place ,car parking very limited outside main car park close but shared , rooms airy and well equipped ,old sash windows one rattled in wind other sash broken could not open , bathroom very clean and tidy ,. glass bottles crashing into waste bin outside window at 8.15 room 10 apart from that would recommend ."

"No problems or issues. We had everything we needed, the bungalow was very comfortable and clean. Wish we booked longer!"

"The staff were warm and inviting, especially the proprietor Simon. The room was tidy and clean. The best was the 14th Century building with a carriageway entrance for a front door and nary a straight line or level floor board to be found. This is a rare gem. And, strange for such an old building, the best shower in all of Cornwall (hot and high pressure). I got to sample the new Indian cuisine that could soon be available at the hotel. I hope so. It’s excellent!"

"John and Anita were really welcoming. We managed to park quite easily on the street nearby. Room was lovely, overlooking golf course. Bed really comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Great value stay."

"Very friendly atmosphere from the start and the staff were so friendly. Room was pleasant, spacious and we slept well. Lovely to wake and stroll on the beach and watch the rollers at breakfast time. The food in the bistro was excellent and very good value. It was an excellent choice to use as a base for exploring the coastline.
