Converted from a stone stable, this detached holiday cottage is situated in the owner’s grounds, has a homely, cosy interior and is set in an elevated position with stunning panoramic views of rolling countryside and fir forests with the River Inny meandering through the valley below. There are a variety of dog walks from the property. It is set midway between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor in the Tamar Valley and about 40 minutes from the north and south coasts. It is just five miles south of the historic town of Launceston with its iconic medieval castle set high on a hill. The Stables has its own cobbled south-facing courtyard with lawned garden. The owners live next door. The Springer Spaniel pub and restaurant is 1 mile and Tre Pol Pen farm shop and cafe is 2 miles away. It was peaceful and a good location for visiting both south and north Cornwall coasts.
