An excellent short stay in a well-maintained property. Parking whilst off-site was easy to find. The property is very close to shops and amenities.

Nice property. Quiet with a comfortable bed. It’s at West Cliff, about 20 minutes walk from the station. It’s technically near the beach but the cliff lift is out of action so it’s a walk to get there. The quietness is the problem as the area feels residential. To get into Whitby is a fair walk down. There is a cost cutters with cash point at the roundabout, a cash only Chinese on the cliff top road and a bar (which was rude when I went in). There are ice cream vans about but you have to walk...

Friendly, clean and beautifully situated hotel. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Excellent food, but beware the huge portions! Highly recommended.

Can’t criticise anything about our stay at Station Inn. Loved it! Would highly recommend.

Very nice apartment convenient for local attractions. Walking distance of Whalebone Arch. If, like me, you don’t have a var, it's within walkin distance of supermarket, local tourist bus which goes to all local attractions, including the Abbey. Be aware the loft appartment is up 3 flights of stairs, but once you reach it, it is very quaint and an ideal base. I was there when it was very strong winds and heavy rain, but the flat js very snug and warm so I was pleasantly surprised. Well stocked...

Stayed for just one night as part of our exploration of the great North East coast and really wished we could have stayed longer. We stayed in room 4 which was a delightful suite with a mezzanine bedroom. The room was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. The bathroom was fantastic with the most amazingly powerful shower. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite and made our stay really enjoyable. A great value for money stay. My private ensuite room basic but functional as simply needing somewhere to sleep. Hand soap provided in room but no towels. The property does have self catering kitchens, a tv room, lounge (with board games) and conservatory. The adjoining cafe (which is open to the public) serves full breakfasts from 7.30am and closes as 8.30pm. Despite signage requesting quiet between 11pm and 7am, I was subjected to raised voices from a nearby room well beyond 2am. Nobody...

Beautiful grounds accessed from the bar/rear of restaurant area - literally step outside and there they are. 10-15 minutes walk from the front of the hotel takes you into Sandsend, lovely village. Walk in the opposite direction takes you to Whitby, can walk or take car. Reception asked what our plans were each day, gave us parking disc for Whitby...gives you 3 hours in designated areas..perfect. Lovely hotel for a break that can be as relaxing or busy as you want it to be.
