Great location and lovely property
4 / 5 Good
Excellent house located a short walk from the town centre. Peaceful location despite being near the road out of Wells. Great size bedrooms, brilliant spacious light and airy well equipped kitchen with big fridge freezer and lovely patio area for evening meals. We used the bedroom off the kitchen which you can't shut a door so it picked up the noise in the morning when our daughter was up early but others wanted to sleep in. The other bedrooms are all fine and comfortable. The weather was hot so some fans would be useful in the bedrooms.
Lovely front garden too and good drive (although hard to park on gravel on steep slope when manoeuvring and beware the bird poo from the trees above which decorated all our cars). Only criticism was that the oven side walls and drawers/cupboards could have been cleaner and we were missing the milk from the starter pack - the rest of the house was pretty immaculate and bedding fresh and crisp and bathrooms clean. Also the steamer set lids didn't fit (according to my mother in law!).
Overall a really comfortable great place to stay for exploring north Norfolk. Recommended.
