"The 16c house is quaint with sloping walls and floors, original beams and inglenook fireplaces. Sympathetically renovated with lovely quality finishing. The garden pretty, with lots of spring bulbs emerging and colourful chickens in a stable supplying fresh, warm eggs. Jonathan was the perfect host - attentive, thoughtful and generous. I used the pool, as yet unheated, for invigorating cold water dips, thawing out in a lovely, hot roll-top bath after with a view of the trees. Plentiful dog...

The location is ideal, accessible to restaurants and stores as well as Petworth House, but also perfectly peaceful. Carole was great to deal with both before and during our stay. "A very pretty location on a quiet road. We arrived in four cars and were able to park easily avoiding the adjacent farm entrance. On entering, the hall, living area and kitchen put an immediate smile on faces. Bedrooms all very appealing too. Every house should have a library snug like this!
