"Wonderful peaceful cottage. This was the best cottage we have stayed at. The welcome pack was fantastic and the home made cake delicious, thank you for all those hidden goodies. We even had a delivery of home made raspberries which was much appreciated. Plenty space for dog walking and exercising. Very friendly owner who we enjoyed our chats with. "Stayed 3 nights at Richmond Cottage with my elderly mother and my dog. We were impressed with the welcome pack which included flowers, wine, milk, bread, butter, ground coffee and tea bags.Mother had the downstairs bedroom. The steps down to bathroom and kitchen were deep but she managed. I had the large double bedroom upstairs with its tiny ensuite shower room. "We have just enjoyed a wonderful week's stay at Racing Retreat. The property is situated in a quiet area and it is only a short walk (perhaps 5-10 mins) into Towcester, where you will find a nice selection of shops and eating places. The property itself is warm, comfortable and is well appointed. There is a small garden and patio with furniture for sitting out if weather permits.
