"Brilliant communication from the host. Immaculate house in a quiet residential street. Had a driveway which fit our two cars comfortably. The house itself was beautiful. Stunning decor and attention to detail. Modern appliances and everything you need. Beds were super comfy with soft linen. The location was great as shops and retail park just a few minutes drive away, Durham was approx ten mins by car. The welcome booklet was so detailed it helped us lots. "Stayed here before a university move in. I got a complimentary upgrade in room so that I could be near the second rom so had robe and slippers for spa. Comfortable spacious room. Spa very nice but in the morning steam room broken and jacuzzi cold. Gym big with lots of equipment Breakfast excellent. Parking cheaper if you book in advance. Easy walk into town"

"The hotel is very well located for visiting the old city centre on foot, and is a 20 minute walk from the train station. My room was large, clean and quiet. It had A/C (though I didn’t really need it) and a mini-fridge. I took the English breakfast option, which was a good choice as there are not many breakfast cafes nearby. My one quibble was with the bathroom, which had a shower in the tub with a glass door which leaked water on the floor. Hotel offered a late checkout option of 1 pm (vs 12 pm) for £10, which was worth it for me. Hotel has a large pay parking lot, useful for people travelling by car."

"Great location and only half hour drive from home . Clean room and very quiet . Easy access to pubs only downside i have was once we checked in they asked for extra £100 as deposit as well as price for the room luckily i had my card on me as this wasn't stated when i booked ."
