For skiing it is difficult to get to by train from Geneva. Skiing also average compared to some Alpine resorts. Very British resort.

A privilege to spend time in Wengen. Superb skiing, scenery and people. Idyllic in every way.
Easy to walk around and almost traffic-free. A good hub for train connections to the various valleys.
Surprisingly little in some of the tourist magazines- which is perhaps not a bad thing!
There are many beautiful walks to be had in and above the Lauterbrunnen valley such as the stunning mountain view trail from Grütschalp to Mürren or the North Face Trail from Almendhubel to Mürren.
A very pretty nice sized resort in a beautiful location with lots of walking trails in the area, and close to mountain attractions.
