"Quaint new hotel, very helpful staff. Rooms small and somewhat cramped but with a beautiful view of the mountains. Still working out the kinks of a new property including renovations/beautification of landscaping and pool which was very loud from 7am-10pm every night. "

"Arrived at the Hotel and the staff could not be more feiendly and helpful. Absolutely beautiful property with a swiss feel. Room was great , indoor pool with Sauna and showers . Restaurant was amazing and probably our best meal in Switzerland. Perfectly located right at the beginning of all the restaurants and shops in Grindenwald. Walk out the door and two minutes you are in the heart of everything. Walked to Grindenwald First as well.
Would highly recommend and absolutely stay there...

"Our stay at the Edelweiss Hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is charming and you totally get the family run vibe. Thomas was very attentive and helpful, as was Monica and the rest of the staff. We had our hikes planned but, made some changes based on their recommendations and they were spot on. I feel that their suggestions made our experiences even better.
We had a balcony room with a delightful view. I highly recommend this establishment. "
"I could not love this hotel more! I could write a mini novel about how wonderful Andreas and Jana and the whole team at Alpenruhe are. Absolutely lovely people. The town of Wengen, in my opinion, was the perfect base to explore all over the Jungfrau region. Convenient and easy to access other areas but so quiet that you feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of busier towns such as Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. "Loved the balconies and view, close proximity to town and things to do/train to Interlaken, etc. rooms were great - stayed on a hot week so know there is no AC. Wengen is the best and this hotel was a great place to stay with kids, as our room had bunk beds in a separate bedroom. "
