The room was comfortable, gym and pool were nice. The queen bed was really two twin beds… Good amenities overall but the staff was unfriendly from the beginning.
After checking out, we left our bags and went out for the day. We returned and tried to quickly munch on something in the lobby before collecting our bags and catching the train. The hotel manager, Lazar, was so rude about telling us not to eat in the lobby but we complied with his instructions and went to finish eating on the terrace. When we returned to collect our bags, he continued be aggressive in addressing us and said that our food caused the lobby to smell (it’s a big lobby- I had fruits and my partner had a chicken leg…) and said he warned us three times, which was untrue and can easily be investigated, so it’s unclear as to why he would lie about this. All in all, would not stay there again. Quite disappointed by the poor attitude that this manager has towards guests and concerned about the example he is setting for his other staff. Regardless of amenities, customer service is a major criterion for decision making…
