"Room was great. Food was good, but placing orders was slow. Food arrived promptly though. My biggest problem is your phone system . I tried probably 10- 15 times to call and each time I waited for the 15-20 rings before it cut me off as none was available . The message "Please call back" or similar message came after the timeout period. You must be loosing lots of business by not answering the phone. The only extension that picked up was the golf."

"Lovely quiet and comfortable rooms with a spacious bathroom. The staff were very helpful and check in/,out was speedy. Perfect hotel for an early flight as it was only 5min walk to terminal."

"The best thing about this hotel is really the proximity to the airport. It is a lovely hotel- rooms are great, not much noise and decent size. But it is amazing that you can just walk across the street to the airport without worrying about any transportation or delays. I had an early morning flight and stayed the night before. I was able to get breakfast quickly at the hotel before casually walking over to catch my flight. Awesome!"

"Superb experience from check in all the way through to the amenities. Everything conveniently on site, classy, clean and all star were so friendly- from bar staff, check in, cleaning staff, spa staff. Everyone. Will be back."

"Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. We also liked the pool, sauna and steam room. We paid for an upgraded room which was very nice and comfortable. The only downsides were the lack of bedside plugs, and we’d have preferred the en-suite to have a door for privacy."

"Breakfast buffet was ok but several items had run out at 9am , the bacon mushrooms and scrambled egg were cold , run out of beans tomatoes danish pastries"
Royal Marine Hotel

"A really impressive building - we’ve passed by before and always hoped to stay here. The building is quirky and has so much going for it… probably several £££ million to bring it up to 4* standards, but the staff were super friendly and the room we were assigned was brilliant and had lovely views over the port. Also accommodated for our dog which was really appreciated. The restaurant served a great dinner too and the Scottish breakfast gave us a cracking start on our onward journey. Thank you !"
