"Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. "This was a last minute booking as a stopover before our ferry the next morning. We found the place on Hotels.com and were very pleased with the accomodation on our arrival. A beautiful historic hotel, quiet and relaxing. We travelled with our two dogs and were given a courtyard room that allow dogs. Room was very clean and comfortable.
