"Arrived in the rain but didn’t put a dampener on our stay. Super cosy cottage, with everything that we needed. Location was perfect and with fields opposite we could let our dog have a runaround before venturing out for the day. "The Lodge itself was beautiful and comfortable ideal for a family or couple with a dog, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, and so spacious!... the views of Milbrook and Plymouth from Lodge 23 are astounding. A great place to relax. Although pet friendly, I think if you own just one, well behaved dog he or she should be allowed off-lead and monitored closely...but it's a no, I understand why, but my dog is a registered working dog and it was her holiday too. Maybe a dog area should be considered...

"Second visit to China Fleet Country Club, staff are very cheerful, helpful and friendly, breakfast has a large selection of hot and cold items and is worth the extra money. The rooms are clean and comfortable but in need of some TLC. Would stay here again."

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. This time we booked a family room with a bed settee, which was situated on the Plymouth Pavillions side of the hotel, which was a lot quieter than the road at the front of the hotel (we don’t have a main road where we live, so not used to the traffic noise) . It was nice to have air conditioning in our room this time, although the unit could have done with a service, to make it more efficient. Staff were cheerful and helpful as ever, and even managed to get us an early check in. We will be back :)"
