"Plenty of positives: high quality complementary toiletries, Dyson hair dryer, coffee machine & kettle, fresh milk & water provided, facilities downstairs were excellent and comfortable, food good, staff friendly and helpful. However, we were in a standard room which was not of the same standard. Shabby decor, small & cramped; only one chair, internal phone not working, WIFI unusable in room, bathroom sink didn’t drain and toilet ran constantly, poor shower. If you have any mobility issues you need to let them know before booking as there is no lift and we had a shower over bath."

"What a lovely stay, only booked it last minute, every member of staff we met were really friendly & helpful. The food in the restaurant was 10/10 as were the breakfasts. Room was spotless, yes a little tired & in need of some tlc but it’s an old pub. We had our little dog with us who was made to feel very welcome. A great stay & would stay agin if in The area"

"Staff very welcoming and helpful. Well equipped room, we particularly appreciated the coffee machine, fresh milk in the fridge and air conditioning. Hotel well positioned for our planned visit to Kings Lynn. Breakfast also very good with everything you could possibly want."

"Location was excellent right in the heart of Wells. Additional bonus was being able to park on the street near the property. Very comfortable, apart from the quilt on the bed which was far too warm for the time of year. A very minor thing other than that it was a wonderful property."
