"We stayed now on two occasions on our journeys north & south to Scotland. The bungalow is easily accessible not too far from the A1 & there are good convenience facilities just off the A1 roundabout less than 4 miles from Austerfield. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard with comfortable sofas & excellent beds & bedding. The location is in a secure park with intriguing deer statues in several places. Well recommended for short or long stays."

It’s charming and the owner Katie is a lovely person. We were surprised by the breakfast goodies and cookies waiting for us. It’s an easy walk into town and over to Sherwood Forest."

"This was a lovely cottage for our Christmas break, perfect for 2 adults and a dog. Maintained to a high standard and catered for all our needs. We'd like to return in Spring/Summer to further explore the area. Owners were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. Little touches like xmas gifts for us and our dog were much appreciated. Thank you Lucy, Chris and Molly dog."

"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."

"We arrived at the property and called the person we had been advised to, to get the code for entry into the studio. She said she no.longer did the caretaking but knew who did, and she offered to call him and ask him to call us. He did, but we were not on his list of bookings. He would not budge and said we had been scammed. We therefore had no access to the property and had to go back home, a 56 mile journey having been denied access for our 3 day break. Checked my bank details and i had paid...

"A very pleasant flat/apartment for a short to medium stay. The hosts included many of the necessary items (soaps, towels, washing detergent for washing machine and dishwasher etc) and the kitchen is well supplied with utensils and cookware. The furniture was comfortable and we didn't find anything lacking during our stay. "The location of this immaculate property was perfect. Step out of the front door (on Steep Hill) and you are right in the centre of all the tourist attractions. The designated parking space was a must have in this historical city. There was a welcome pack waiting for us which was most appreciated.
