We’ve had a lovely week at Leedale cottage. We have two young children so the location was perfect for us. A 30-40 minute drive to lots of child friendly places. Food shops are a short drive away but you can stop off and get what you need on your travels if you plan ahead. The cottage was perfect for what we needed and Joanne was really helpful and welcoming. A beautiful barn conversion in an outstanding area. The Road to the cottage is narrow and bumpy but worth it to enjoy the peace once there. (Occasional moo heard as a working farm- but we were aware and actually quite liked it) Cottage is well equipped, beds very comfortable, very warm. Host was very helpful and welcoming. We used as a base to visit York and also Yorkshire wildlife park.
