"Bydand is in a really lovely spot overlooking the River Tweed, with hills ascending beyond. The neighbouring park is a lovely spot for a shortish stroll and there are plenty of good walks in the area. If you want to go out partying, Walkerburn is not for you, and the nearest supermarket is two miles away in Innerleithen. But if you're into the great outdoors and love Scotland's greenery, it's a great place to be. (I know, I lived in Walkerburn for four years after living in London.)"
