"Everything about the Hotel was excellent. Lovely, friendly, very helpful staff, compty bed and room, clean and with coffee/tea/biscuits provided. Breakfast was first class, trout with poached eggs were perfect, Trish went above and beyond to help us with my disabled husband, she even collected our cases from our room and a staff member took and loaded them into our car. Would certainly stay here again."

"A wonderful place to stay. A fantastic old building with so much character and lovely country views. Bedrooms very comfortable with great attention to detail and well thought through. Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty. The highlight though were the staff throughout. "Great place to stay. Spacious bedroom with a good bed and quality bedding. Radio and TV in the room plus tea and coffee making facilities plus welcome shortbread on arrival. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. It is situated on a busy road but don’t let that put you off - see if you can get one of the quieter rooms at the back. Worth a visit and situated in a great area/countryside."
