"I would definitely recommend. Safety is paramount due to my job back in America and I can say the area and hotel exceeds the security measures put into place. I saw police officers in trucks riding up and down the streets with blue lights on non stop, I saw police officers drop inside of the hotel and they even hire overnight security to provide extra security. "Hotel Palacio, as usual, was great. It’s one of my favorite hotels in Santo Domingo. I really recommend it.
What I didn’t like was the new breakfast system. It was to be a buffet. Now they have a system in which the give guests a voucher they can use for breakfast. I dislike this method. Other than that, the hotel is amazing. "
