The staff know me and even when my flights are cancelled and I come in a day later at 11pm, they whisk me to my room quickly and assign me a very quiet room. This is like the 4th time I’ve stayed at this hotel as I much prefer this area rather than in the heart of the old quarter. It’s slightly quieter and the lake is only a 3 minute walk for those early morning walks when I’m jet lagged. Buffet breakfast is great with lots of variety and plenty of dragon fruit. Mr Do and his reception team are great and I always seriously appreciate all the little amenities offered. I used the rooftop bar for a client meeting and it worked out great. The evening staff remember me from previous trips and I appreciate all the care they take in worrying about me and asking where I’m going at 4:30 am ( gotta watch the Hanoians work out that early haha.) I also still like that there is the supermarket across the street and tons of shopping nearby. I guess I still like the cathedral neighborhood vs other areas. The gold shops are still exchanging money however the VP bank atm didn’t work with my US Capital one card. I’ll definitely be back in October! Thank you again Oriental Jade !
