Close to City Centre Dublin. Bathroom and floors not properly cleaned. Overall good stay.
Such a beautiful hostel experience. Loved the design concept.
Good facilities, near to tourist buses and easy walk to the city
Great downtown location with quick walking access toany of the sites and easy bus access. Great reception team as well. No A/C, which made for some warm nights but overall a good choice for our stay at a good rate.
Excellent staff Good breakfast Nice rooms Very comfortable beds
Location and staff and breakfast were great. Central to everything.
Just steps away from the Heuston station. Beautiful hotel. Rooms felt dated. Front desk service was just ok. Louge service and food was awful. This hotel is great for being close to the train but that's about it.
Amazing, newer hotel: everyone is so sweet and helpful. Made our stay so incredibly easy! Would recommend to anyone
Excellent property, staff and amenities. Great for walking!
Winner of no less than three major awards for its achievements in live music, Vicar Street in Dublin is the epitome of cool. Opened in 1998, Vicar Street has moved from strength to strength over the years, while retaining the relaxed atmosphere that made it such a success in the first place. This cutting edge music and arts venue lies on Thomas Street at the heart of Dublin.
With a seating capacity of more than 1,000 – and half that number again for standing performances – Vicar Street has crafted itself a reputation as a personal and friendly gig venue. It boasts a broad programme of performances, covering everything from live music to stand-up comedy. Over the years, Vicar Street has hosted huge international names such as Bob Dylan, Lana Del Rey and Paul Simon. It has also hosted a number of musical competitions and fundraising events – usually centring on live music, which forever remains at the heart of the venue’s ethos.
In addition to live gigs, Vicar Street is also a popular Dublin clubbing venue. Of course, it is well equipped for this, with five licensed bars and – as you would hope – a top of the range sound and lighting system.
Situated just south of the River Liffey at the beating heart of the city’s bar and theatre scene, if you’re visiting Dublin, be sure to find a gig at Vicar Street for a truly unforgettable night out on the town.
