The Guinness Storehouse is situated at St. James’s Gate Brewery in Dublin. The giant storehouse covers seven floors and is a popular point of interest for tourists - since it opened in 2000, it has received over four million visitors.

St. James’s Gate Brewery has been home to Guinness since 1759. The impressive building, formerly the Guinness fermentation plant, has been remodelled into the shape of a giant pint of the “black stuff”.

The building, designed in the style of the Chicago School of Architecture, was the first multi-storey steel-framed building to be constructed in IrelandOpens in a new window.

Head to Gravity Bar on the seventh floor and take in fabulous views over the capital city of Dublin, which sits on Ireland’s east coast, at the mouth of the River Liffey. The bar is 95% glass and there is excellent signage to direct you to each of the sights.

Visitors can take guided tours, where you will learn about the history of Guinness told through various interactive exhibits. Discover the ingredients, brewing techniques and trade secrets of Ireland’s most loved beverage, before you sip on a free pint at the Gravity Bar.
