"This hotel is in a very beautiful spot with a multi level garden and incredible views of the hills around. The owners and staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We had coffee out under the arbor and breakfast was brought to our veranda. Would definitely stay here again."

"The Ibex property has one of the best views in all of Coonoor. We visited some of the higher end hotels and found that the views did not compare to that of Ibex. The bungalow is a old heritage style, gorgeous bungalow , the staff is very very sweet and helpful, and it's very worth the price! They even provide a good breakfast, games and books on request, and gave us a little goodbye token which was so warm and loving! "

"Great location on hilltop, on the way to the highest point of Ooty (Dodabetta). Quite spacious and they have lot of activities to spend time. The best thing I like the evening tea stall that serves variety of teas to pick from with light snacks. And that was on the house! The availability of choices in liquor were limited. Food quality in buffet breakfast and dinner was OK - can be improved. We liked ala-carte dishes."

"The towels were dirty, though they changed it the new ones were the same as old ones. Food was the worst part, nothing was available except tea and coffee. To top it off the manager was very unpleasant. About the property itself, it’s placed in a very scenic location and all we enjoyed was the nature from the room sit out. That was the good part."

Man kann (gegen Aufpreis) ein Lagerfeuer bekommen und draußen Musik hören. Muß man mal abwarten, wohin sich das noch entwickelt. Zuviel wäre sicherlich der Atmosphäre abträglich. Werde ziemlich sicher wiederkommen und würde mich freuen, wenn es dann bessere Leseleuchten am Bett gibt."

This property is advertised as coming with chef services. The person who cooked meals was the property helper and he had limited resources. There was no CHEF on staff.
