Top Upper Daintree Hotel Reviews

Heritage Lodge

Heritage Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"A very nice cabin in the middle of the rainforest. If you want to get close to nature, this is the place. Mixed reviews on the staff. Not quite friendly and somewhat condescending. The food at the restaurant was good but quite overpriced. $36 and up for an entrée."

"Staff were excellent. The lodge is a little tired in places, in need of a revamp in my opinion, but still a wonderful experience. Lovely evening meal, limited menu, and breakfast."

Daintree Ecolodge

Daintree Ecolodge

10/10 Excellent
"We had an incredible time at the Daintree Ecolodge! Our family reunited from different parts of the US to visit the Daintree area. The Daintree Ecolodge was a standout experience! Rob was so incredibly helpful as was the rest of the staff. The rooms were beautiful, nestled right into the forest. What a magical place. The food was amazing. Breakfast was soo good and we also had the dinner during our stay which was a highlight for all of us with a varied and delicious menu. Our family loved this extraordinary place, one of our top places to have ever stayed at!"

Mantra On The Inlet

Mantra On The Inlet

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in Mantra for a week and loved it. A large well decorated apartment with views over the inlet, so close to shops and restaurants, and great facilities for travellers on the go. Equipped kitchen and washing machine were a welcome surprise. It was very peaceful given the central location, and we received a warm welcome on arrival. Unit had a large bed, double sofa bed, kitchen, dining table, large balcony, jacuzzi bath and shower. Parking was provided free in the underground car park. Nice pool and BBQ too. Great for the family. Highly recommend and would love to stay again."

Safari Lodge

Safari Lodge

8/10 Good
"Lovely modern cabins with amenities not far away to walk and right next to the pool. Fair parking for guests but could do with more parking out the front when visiting the restaurant. No freezer in the camp kitchen for ice cream storage, but a large fridge. Toilets and showers could do with an upgrage to match the cabin quality. Not a lot of room around the pool. Great to have an on site cafe serving coffee from 7.30am. great to stay over when you are doing a Reed trip"

"Immersive remote, rainforest experience. Cute shack that suited my kids and me. We really like a natural space. The area is amazing too - a real treat to spend days here and absorb a bit of the environment over time."

Club Tropical Resort Port Douglas

Club Tropical Resort Port Douglas

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed as a family of 2adults and 2kids. Our room was a great size. Light and bright. Lovely balcony. Yes older but perfectly clean and tidy and great for Queensland life. The pool facilities are amazing. New, great heated pool, hot spa, cold plunge and two saunas. Everything down here is new and looks amazing. Big bbq area and seating. There is a big fish pond with stepping stones that the kids loved running around on. Awesome location, right in the action. Can be a tiny bit noisy at night, probably depends on your room. Nothing dramatic. Great blinds for darkness (parents care right). I would 100% stay again"

"Such a beautiful setting to recharge and relax. Thoughtful inclusions mean you can sit back and decide whether you need to leave the hammock/bath/riverbank for afternoon cocktails. (But do, they are worth it!)"
