Lodges right on the edge of the rainforest, surrounded by lush plant. Lodges neat, tidy and clean. Cooper’s Creek swimming holes amazing, absolutely natural creek running through thick rainforest on the property with quick, easy access; swimming morning and night in the creek was the highlight of the stay. Dinner delicious, a la carte menu and although not cheap the portions were enormous! Continental breakfast included and tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. We loved the honeymoon suite that we stayed in. The property has its own walking tracks and swimming hole on site. It was lovely to disconnect and spend time in the rainforest. The free continental breakfast was simple and nice. It was great that was included. Great location. This was the second time we’ve stayed here. Both times we enjoyed the room, wading in Cooper Creek, and had good meals (breakfast and supper) in the restaurant. The following is not a complaint - but be aware that seed pods continually fall from the overhead canopy and onto the sheet metal roofs of the rooms with a large bang - so expect noise day and night from this (both of our stays were in July so this might be seasonal). Cooper Creek is really the star attraction for this location. This spot was beautiful, the creek / swimming holes that run through the property were absolutely stunning to swim in. The cabin we stayed in needs a little work but was clean and perfect for us. The staff were amazing, restaurant food was pricey but really good, the steak was 10/10! Perfect place to stay if you want to explore the rainforest, cape trib ect.
