"We had a great stay at the Regal. It was very quiet during the low season so we were lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves most days. Great facilities at the pool (fridge, BBQ) and the room had everything we needed (plates, bowls and cutlery, and two bath towels each plus swimming towels for the pool/beach). "The property is super convenient, located on the main street close to shopping, Coles, eateries and a short walk to the beach. The unit I stayed in was clean and nicely furnished; overlooked the pool but foliage provided privacy for breakfast on the balcony.The pool isn't big but it's there should you need to exercise or relax poolside. The kitchen had what I needed for self-catering and the soap, shampoo and conditioner were of good quality. It was relaxing and I had a great stay."

"Never in my life have I stayed in a hotel with no housekeeping, where I was even asked to take out the trash when leaving. If the hotel had been budget-friendly, I might have understood—but given the price, this is completely ridiculous. The hotel was about 80% empty. After staying 4 days, we had to leave at 4 a.m. due to a car glitch—and had to carry our trash bags ourselves because there were no elevators to the garage. This experience was unacceptable and very frustrating."

The setting is amazing, you are in the rainforest with a stretch of river to swim in, the pool is also unique! The spa treatments we had were extremely good and reasonably priced. The stay was made extra special by the wonderful staff, everyone was warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay magical. We hope to return one day!!! "
