"Food was really nice, frendly staff, spacious cabin with comfortable bed, very quiet, nicely hidden in the jungle so no signal or wifi in the room, but they have a large selection of dvds you can use. There is a swimming pool but You can also enjoy a refreshing dip in a natural swimming hole of the creek."

"Loved the location, had 2 walking paths from property right into rainforest. Clean spacious quiet room, the screened in porch was my favourite part. Did not really enjoy the restaurant- food was not that good for the price. Got the steak and it was very grisly. The hotel bar in Daintree village is the place to go eat- they had excellent food! The restaurant was also absolutely covered in spiders because it’s outside so would have liked to see some maintenance done regarding that issue. Just dust the webs off every day or 2 and that would be better. Didn’t feel very comfortable dining. That was the only bad part, everything else was excellent "

"Wonderful stay over Easter!! From go to wo it was a pleasurable experience. Gisela sorted out a bungled cruise booking before we had even arrived. And about Gisela, how nice to be greeted by such a lovely personality. A real credit to the industry! All the staff at Club Tropical were great. Communication 2nd to none! The room itself was tired and in need of a coat of paint in the least. However, it was very clean and well appointed, big fridge, beds comfy, lux pillows, and my favourite critique wherever I stay… “The water pressure” It was very good. The studio boasts a huge bathroom! Big bath, separate shower, and the mirror did not fog up…. “Small detail” but I feel worth mentioning! The cooking area is on the spacious balcony, The utensils supplied were adequate for a decent “cook up”. The balcony has metal louvers for privacy and to keep the sun out. We loved relaxing in that space and enjoyed “free tunes” from the courthouse hotel in the evening. We chose a studio overlooking Macrossan Street for “people watching” The music was a bonus…. Especially not having to pay the drink prices that they charge at the courty. Its normally the first pub we go to… no need on this occasion! The location of Club Tropical was fantastic for us, dinning central! On the subject of dinning… A special mention to Salsa bar and grill. Salsa is always fantastic and never disappoints! I am booked elsewhere in port for the next few visits, but will make Club Tropical a priority in the future! "

"We stayed here for a family holiday with 9 of us. This house was perfect for everyone to have heaps of space for sleeping, chilling and playing. A beautiful quiet location with a lovely view but close to essentials for food shopping. We opted to cook up over eating out and had everything we needed. A short drive to port Douglas and easy to drive from Cairns. Thank you very much for a great stay. "
