"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "The food was absolutely top notch,dinner was amazing. Sadly the room,bathroom could most definitely need a complete renovation. The pool,has the lining coming loose,and the jacuzzi had too many chemicals in,and the handrail looks as if it has not been cleaned for ages. Staff were all very pleasant and extremely efficient."

"As a group of 15 people (a mix of adults and kids) this property had plenty of space for all of us, the bedrooms were a good size, with comfortable beds, clean bedding and all had access to their own bathrooms which was great. The kitchen would benefit from a bit more lighting but was clean and well equipped and had a large table and chairs big enough to seat us all. The only access to upstairs was via an open spiral staircase which was a little creaky and may not be suitable for those less physically able. There are two cosy living room areas downstairs with plenty of comfy seating. Attached to the property is a ‘games room’ with a hot tub and several games tables, the hot tub was lovely however we did find that it overflowed, meaning we had to mop the floor a lot! When we arrived we are greeted by the host who was very friendly and told us about the river Taw which runs close to the property and that we could use some of their paddleboards and kayaks on it, this was great bonus for us and we really enjoyed doing this. The property is located close to two train stations so has really easy access to places like Exeter and Barnstaple. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend "
