"It was stepping in to beautiful history with the friendliest most accommodating staff around. Truly special and delicious food."

"Beautiful view out the back. A garden to sit in. Meals were delicious."

"A great stop over on the way to Cornwall A nice welcome on arrival and we found our booking upgraded to a larger room. A good selection of pies for dinner and fresh pastries and coffee for breakfast. Fresh coffee and cafetière in the room was a nice touch."

"Couldn't fault our stay."

"Plenty of parking at the rear of the pub for guest, which was great as there isn’t any parking on the Main Street. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice."

"Lovely overnight stay, thoroughly recommend!"

"Very comfortable stay. Restaurant food excellent"

"Lovely pub & area"

"The Kings Arms is a lovely old pub with wonky beams and floor, but that just adds to the character of the place. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Evening meal was absolutely scrumptious! The only downside is that it's next to the main street running throught the village, but this was remedied by using a good set of ear plugs at bedtime!"

"Amazing place to stay..food is fantastic.. Tess was super welcoming and we will definitely stay again!!"
