"Love the room! Very ritzy!!"

"Positives- As my friend said as we went to breakfast “the people here are so nice and look happy to work here!” I agree! Eloisa (I hope that is correct-our bartender ) made happy hour on Friday night even happier! She was friendly and knowledgeable, suggesting drinks we hadn’t had before just by asking what we usually order. While the floor plan is an open Hallway the rooms kept out sound very well! Only sounds to bother sleep were sirens at night. But that would be at any city hotel so I can’t hold the hotel accountable for that. Fantastic location! Breakfast and Happy hour were too notch! Only negatives (not deal breakers)- The room was great but the bathroom door and fan were aged. The fan was loud. So much I closed the door when sleeping. I had to be sure to push the door closed for it to latch so I could lock the door. But these are common hotel things. "

"Super helpful, knowledgeable with great communication through text as well. Everything was clean. Wish parking wasn’t so much money :(. The hotel staff went above and beyond for us. Even had a kind man offer to make me a sandwich after the restaurants were closed following a night out. Took the time to make it for my voluntarily and was so nice our entire stay. Really made me smile and was such a thoughtful way to improve my stay! "

"Some may find this hotel a little "old school", but it's dependable, clean, efficient, and well located. There are so many reviews of hotels in the downtown area that are all over the place...we went back here in 2025 after staying there in 2016, and they were on top of everything. Room could have been a tiny bit bigger, but hey, it's downtown Chicago...view was nice, room was clean and quiet, restaurant/bar area was clean and breakfast buffet was nice, and check in/out was simple. YMMV, but for *our* mileage, we'll always stay here when were in DT Chicago."
