"Buffalo Mountain Lodge was a charming place to stay. I only wish we had booked it for multiple nights! The room had a fireplace and we enjoyed winding down the night in front of it. The order space overlooked Mount Rundle and was the perfect spot for a drink before dinner and a morning coffee. We did have dinner at the Prow and the food and service were great. We also had drinks at the bar after dinner and the bartender was attentive and great. We would love to stay here again sometime and highly recommend everyone to consider Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Even though it's outside of downtown Banff, the Roam transit bus is just a short walk from the hotel and can get you anywhere you want to go. We had previously stayed in downtown Banff and realized this location was a little more to our liking and less busy. Thanks for a great night in Banff!"

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is a bit far from downtown Banff but they provided free passes for Roam transit buses which was very convenient. The room seemed newly renovated, was spacious enough for the 4 of us, had a small kitchenette, and a balcony. Overall, an excellent experience. The only negatives I can think of are that there was no other mirror in the room besides the bathroom one and there was no hairdryer. "
