"The hotel is starting to look a little tired with bathroom hardware looking old and warn. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice and well presented. It is used extensively by trades folk so avoid the breakfast areas between 7:30 and 8:30. Good luck to the new management. "

"I booked here for a catch-up with a dear friend. It was nice and clean, but i booked a twin room, but they gave us a double, so that had to be sorted and the basin in the bathroom was severely cracked, so reported that also. Food was just ok, but expensive, plus the drinks also. A small glass of prosecco and a red wine was over £20 Breakfast was plentiful, but the staff on breakfast duty on 24/3 need additional training in customer services "

"Room was ok. Small double bed. No headboard, just the wall behind the bed. No hot water in peak times. No black out curtains at all. Lighting very dim in the room so impossible to put make up on anywhere other than the bathroom. "

"Staff+food were faultless. Bed wasn't the comfiest though, so might need a rethink + shower temp was a bit mad; one nudge the wrong way and it was scalding. But overall, a positive stay with wonderful views and the staff are really, really brilliant people! :)"
