We had the garden suite room which was very spacious and had everything we needed... Access to the pool was great and overall lovely stay. When back in Rome we will stay here for certain.

Absolutely loved this gem of a hotel - a great neighbourhood, lovely staff, clean and practical rooms, it was so wonderful to have a pool on site too.
Brilliant location away from the hustle and bustle but walkable to all sights. I cannot recommend it enough and would definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel was incredible, right beside the Colosseum and it provided us with a fantastic base to explore the city.
We had booked the double suite as it was on offer - the description of the room was a suite in an annex building, which I felt was a little deceiving because it's actually an apartment within an apartment block.
Having said that, the apartment was spacious and lovely, and our sheets etc. were changed every day as you'd expect. But I think it's important to know...

We had a Colosseum view room which really impressed. The hotel had all the facilities we needed and the choice for breakfast was excellent. The hotel itself is in a great location and was so easy to get around using public transport and by foot.

Very impressed with this hotel. The staff were extremely attentive and we were upgraded to a suite on check in. The spa facilities were excellent, this needs to be booked in advance but you are offered exclusivity of the pool and spa area. The breakfast was very good too. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Palazzo Talia for one night at the end of our honeymoon travelling the Mediterranean. After a long few weeks we were exhausted, especially given the hot weather of bustling Rome. Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by the calming and professional staff who immediately made us feel at home. Which was exactly what we needed. Even within the hotel courtyard, the lively noises of Rome seemed to just fade away.
The way the hotel is designed, decorated and restored is nothing...

Nice location looking out across Rome. The Trasterve was close and has great streets and places to eat. Beautiful and green and more refreshing than staying in the city.
Limited breakfast options but great views from the roof and lovely food served at the poolside

Loved our stay here - the most beautiful decor, friendly staff and the best vibes. The hotel is very well located - would highly recommend the rooftop pool and cocktail bar!

Having traveled the world I can say that this hotel should certainly be ranked as one of the best, since it is 5* in every category. It is just north of the Villa Borghese in a peaceful setting close to the park so the sense of being removed from the bustle of the city noise and traffic is essential for a relaxing stay. It is not close to public transport but there is a free shuttle to the Via Veneto and the bus/metro system. The rooms are luxurious, and it has the best Spa in Rome that is...

5 night stay on our first trip to Rome. I chose this hotel due to good reports and comments about location and glad we did choose to stay here.
Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Easy access from airport, get F1 regional train from airport 8 Euros to Trastevere, then pop on Tram number 8 for 2 stops. Thus avoid Termini.
Regular trams into Rome centre (8 stops I recall) or Buses or walk/tram up to more bars and Restaurants in Trastevere are just before River Tiber.

The pool was lovely and clean such a nice area to be around, great staff so friendly and helpful and the room was amazing. So lively around the area, there's some cafes and restaurant down the road like 2 minutes away. Lots of locals gather there.

We stayed at the Aldrovandi Residence for seven nights from the 3rd to the 10th December. We found it very comfortable with excellent beds, well appointed rooms, a good breakfast, and terrific staff. The hotel is situated on a main tram route so you can catch a number 19 tram down to Risorgimento, right by the Vatican for €1.5. This €1.5 fare will get you to all sorts of places within the city. Stay at the Aldrovandi and you don't need taxis. There is a computer and a printer available for...

The hotel is niece, well decorated and very pleasing to stay.
Our overall experience in this hotel was very, very good. The room was nice and cleaned every day. The hotel entrance was also in a good state of cleanliness.
In our first day our passport, all the money we had and mobile phones got stolen, while visiting central Rome and when staff learned this were very helpful, supportive and professional. They dealt with our distress and endless requests in the best way they could. I was...
