"Having stayed at Retallack several years ago, we found that things were much the same, but obviously with more development going on. Our lodge looked a little tired, compared to where we stayed before, perhaps because it is up for sale, the owners have lost interest. The upstairs balcony was rather dirty with bird droppings and the wood was rather slimy, which made it more or less unusable as a pleasant place to sit. "Booked for a long weekend, Friday to Tuesday morning. Good communication from owner and easy access. Site is well sited with a car for Padstow and Wadebridge. Chalet was in good upkeep and spotlessly clean. Made an excellent base for exploring to local area."
